 Verse 17 of Gita Chapter

For, a, thousand, ages, the, day, which, the, Brahman, knows, as, the, night,

At, the, end, of, a, thousand, ages, they, are, the, people, who, know, the, day, and, the, night.

Translation: (भर्ह्मणः) of the Supreme Brahman (यत्) which (अहः) is a day (सहस्रायुपर्यन्तम्) having the duration of a thousand ages and (रात्रिम्) the night also (योगसहश्रान्ताम्) having the duration of a thousand ages (विदुः) know by the element (ते) they ( Janah) The Tattvadarshi Saints (Ahoratravidah) are those who know the essence of day and night. (17)

Translation: Those who know the day of the Supreme Being as having a duration of a thousand ages and the night as having a duration of a thousand ages are the Tattvadarshi saints who know the element of day and night. (17)

Note:- In the translation of Gita Chapter 8 Verse 17, other translators of Gita have written that one day of Brahma is one thousand Chaturyugas which is not appropriate. Because in the original Sanskrit, Sahansar Yuga is written, not Chaturyuga. and Brahmanah is written and not Brahma. This verse 17 is about Parabrahma and not about Brahma has misinterpreted the meanings due to lack of philosophy.

Special: After the death of seven Trilokiya Brahma (sons of Rajaguna of time) there is death of one Trilokiya Vishnu and after the death of seven Trilokiya Vishnu (sons of Satguna of time) there is death of one Trilokiya Shiva (son of Tamoguna of Brahma-time). occurs. After the death of such 70000 (seventeen thousand i.e. 0.7 lakh) Trilokiya Shivas, one Brahmalokiya Maha Shiva (Sadashiva i.e. time) dies. The life span of a Brahmalokiya Mahashiva was as long as one yuga of Parabrahma (Akshara Purusha). After the death of such a thousand ages, that is, a thousand Brahmalokiya Shiva (in Brahmaloka, time itself resides in the form of Mahashiva), the twenty-one universes of time are destroyed. So here is a day of Parabrahma which is a thousand ages and so many nights. is written.

(1) The life span of Rajaguna Brahma:-

Age of Brahma

One day of Brahma is one thousand four yugas and there are so many nights. A Chaturyuga consists of 43,20,000 human years) A month is thirty days and nights, a year is twelve months and one hundred years is the age of Brahma. which is 72 million Chaturyugas.

(2) The life span of Satguna Vishnu:-

Age of Vishnu

The age of Vishnu is seven times greater than the age of Brahma, that is, the age of Vishnu is 504 million Chaturyugas.

(3) Age of Tamaguna Shiva:-

Age of Shiv Ji

The age of Lord Shiva is seven times greater than the age of Lord Vishnu, that is, the age of Lord Shiva is three billion fifty-two crore eighty million Chaturyugas.

(4) The age of Kala Brahma, i.e., the Akshara Purusha:-

After the death of seven Trilokiya Brahma (Rajaguna sons of time) one Trilokiya Vishnu dies and after the death of seven Trilokiya Vishnu (Satguna sons of time) one Trilokiya Shiva (Tamoguna son of Brahma/Time) dies . Such a thousand ages is one day of the Supreme Being. After the completion of one day of Parabrahma, the twenty-one universes of Kala Brahma are destroyed and the Goddess of Time and Nature (Durga) dies. At the end of the night of Parabrahma (which is a thousand ages), Kala and Durga are reborn at the beginning of the day, then they begin creation in one universe as before. Thus one day of Parabrahma, that is, the Akshara Purusha, is a thousand ages and so is the night.

The age of Akshara Purusha, i.e. Parabrahma:-

A yuga of Parabrahma is equal to the age of Brahmaloka Shiva, that is, Mahashiva (Kal Brahma). A day of the Supreme Being is a thousand ages and so is the night. Thus one day and night of Parabrahma became two thousand ages. A month is 30 days, a year is 12 months and the age of Parabrahma is one hundred years. This proves that Parabrahma, the Akshara Purusha, is also perishable. Therefore, Gita Chapter 15 verse 16.17 and Chapter 8 verses 20 to 22 speak of another perfect God who is actually indestructible.

Verses 18-19 of Chapter 8 describe that all beings arise from the unmanifest, i.e. invisible, at the beginning of the day and merge in the same unmanifest (invisible) at night.
